JARAWEB POLICIES

Domain, Handover and Migration Policy

This policy explains domain choices and renewals, who administers domain records, what happens when service ends, and the prices and scope for website exports, buyouts and migrations.

Provider: TMR Concept, operating JaraWeb · Novare Central, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja, Nigeria
Effective from the date this policy is published on jaraweb.com.ng.

At a glance

Domain included

One available .com.ng registration is included in the package. TMR Concept pays the registrar cost as part of the package.

Free content export

After service ends, request a free export of customer content and customer data in a reasonable format.

Paid handover options

Buyout and assisted migration have published plan prices. The written quote confirms the exact scope before work starts.

1. Domain options and charges

Your accepted quote or order form identifies the requested domain and extension, registration term, registration charge and renewal charge. Registration depends on availability and approval by the registrar or registry.

.com.ng

Included in package

One available .com.ng registration is included in the package price. It is paid for by TMR Concept and is not cost-free to JaraWeb.

Supported alternatives

₦10,000 per registration

Supported alternatives such as .com, .org, .uk and .co.uk are offered at a subsidised customer price. TMR Concept pays the registrar’s actual registration fee.

Some extensions have eligibility rules. For example, .sch.ng is reserved for eligible schools and .org.ng is intended for not-for-profit or public-service organisations. If your requested name is unavailable or ineligible, TMR Concept will contact you to agree another available option.

2.

Registrant details, account administration and renewals

E15 Technologies Limited controls and administers each registrar account used for JaraWeb customer domains. This administrative control does not make E15 Technologies Limited the domain registrant.

Where the registry and registrar permit, you will be recorded as the registrant using your accurate customer details. You are responsible for checking those details and telling TMR Concept if they need correction. Registrar and registry rules apply, and you may be asked to provide information or verification for registration, renewal, updates or transfer.

You are responsible for paying the domain renewal charges shown on your order or renewal notice. Renewal dates and prices can differ by extension and term. Keep your contact details current and respond promptly: an expired domain may stop resolving, and recovery may involve extra charges or may no longer be possible.

3.

Domain cancellation and transfer when service ends

You may request cancellation in writing before TMR Concept purchases or submits your domain registration. Once the domain has been purchased or its registration submitted for you, the order cannot be cancelled. The domain fee is not refundable by TMR Concept. You may ask to stop a future JaraWeb service renewal under the Cancellation and Refunds Policy; the domain itself remains subject to its registration term, renewal and transfer rules.

At service exit, TMR Concept will provide reasonable assistance to update DNS or transfer the registration to a registrar you choose, subject to customer verification, registry and registrar requirements, and any charges imposed by the receiving registrar. TMR Concept does not charge a domain-release fee.

Request a transfer in time to avoid expiry. A domain transfer or DNS change can interrupt website or email service if it is not coordinated with your new host or email provider.

4.

Customer content, website files and licences

You may request a free content export after your service ends. It contains customer content and customer data in a reasonable export format; it is not a complete WordPress installation, hosting account, all website files or a transfer of software licences.

A website buyout and full file handover includes the files and databases expressly listed in the written quote. JaraWeb retains its reusable templates, design systems, code libraries and proprietary tools unless the accepted quote expressly includes a transfer or licence. Third-party themes, plugins, fonts and other licensed materials remain subject to their own terms; a handover does not automatically transfer those licences.

Custom E15 plugins supplied as part of a JaraWeb package are not charged as a separate subscription item. Their custom development has a minimum reference value of ₦150,000. Plugin source code or a standalone licence is not included in a website buyout unless the accepted quote expressly says so. Any continued-use licence, replacement or new custom work must be agreed and quoted separately.

Email mailbox export or migration is not included automatically. It must be expressly listed in your order or handover quote.

5.

Renewal is charged at the end of the initial service period stated in your order. Quarterly means every three months, semi-annual means every six months and annual means every twelve months. Your order form or invoice shows the first due date.

Requesting an export, buyout or migration

Contact TMR Concept through the JaraWeb Contact page. Include your business name, website address, current plan, requested service (content export, buyout, assisted migration or combined service) and preferred destination host if relevant.

Request

TMR Concept verifies the customer account and reviews the requested service and timing.

Confirm scope

For a buyout or migration, you receive a written scope and quote covering included files and databases, exclusions, licences, email handling, testing and any support.

Pay and provide access

Outstanding invoices must be paid before handover. Work begins after you accept the quote, pay the charges due and provide required access, approvals and information.

Complete handover

You provide accurate destination-host details. Access or approval delays can affect the estimated completion time.

Planning a website handover?

Contact JaraWeb before your service ends so there is time to agree the scope, destination hosting, and any domain or email transition.
