Privacy Notice

This notice explains how TMR Concept and E15 Technologies Limited handle personal data when providing JaraWeb services, and how individuals can exercise their privacy rights.

TMR Concept is fully responsible for fulfilling JaraWeb customer orders and service obligations. JaraWeb is powered by E15 Technologies Limited and TMR Concept.

Provider: TMR Concept, operating JaraWeb · Novare Central, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja, Nigeria
Effective from the date this policy is published on jaraweb.com.ng.

1. Who this notice covers

The key timing rule is straightforward: you may ask to cancel before TMR Concept purchases or submits your domain registration. Once it has been purchased or submitted for you, the order cannot be cancelled. Other refund limits and your option to stop future renewals are explained below.

TMR Concept determines why and how customer account, order, billing and support records are processed. When hosting or technical services are provided for a customer website, TMR Concept and/or E15 Technologies Limited may process website visitor data on that customer’s instructions. The customer remains responsible for its own privacy notice and for the lawful collection and use of its website visitors’ data.

Where required, a separate data-processing agreement will set out the processing instructions and responsibilities between the relevant parties.

2.

Personal data we may handle

Depending on your relationship with JaraWeb and the features used, we may handle customer names, business contact details, account and domain information, order and payment records, website content supplied for a build, support communications, security logs and information submitted by visitors to customer websites.

We use only information that is relevant to providing, managing, securing or supporting the applicable service, or to meet another purpose described in this notice or explained when information is collected.

3.

Why we use personal data

The purpose depends on the service interaction. We use personal data for the following service-related purposes.

4.

Lawful basis for processing

TMR Concept and E15 Technologies Limited identify and document the lawful basis that applies to each processing activity under the Nigeria Data Protection Act. The applicable basis depends on the purpose and circumstances of the processing.

We will record the applicable lawful basis for each processing activity in our internal data inventory and provide further details on request. Where relevant, information about the basis will be provided at or before the point where personal data is collected. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it; withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

5.

When personal data may be shared

We may share information with service providers needed to deliver JaraWeb, including hosting, domain, email, payment, backup, security, analytics and support providers. We limit access to information needed for the provider’s service and use appropriate contractual and security measures.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to respond to a lawful request, protect people or systems, investigate misuse, enforce an agreement or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

The service providers actually used, their relevant roles and data locations will be documented and disclosed through an updated provider list or notice.

6.

International data transfers

Some service providers may process or store personal data outside Nigeria. Where personal data is transferred outside Nigeria, TMR Concept and E15 Technologies Limited will apply the safeguards required by applicable data-protection law and document the relevant transfer arrangements.

Information about applicable providers, data locations and transfer safeguards may be requested through the JaraWeb Contact page.

7.

How long we retain information

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this notice, applicable legal obligations, dispute resolution and security. Retention periods depend on the type of record and the reason it is held.

Detailed retention periods are maintained in our retention schedule. When information is no longer required, it will be securely deleted, anonymised or otherwise handled in accordance with applicable law and documented retention procedures.

8.

How we protect personal data

We use appropriate technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. Access is limited to people and service providers who need it for their assigned duties.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. We maintain an incident response process and make notifications required by applicable law. If you suspect that your JaraWeb account or website data has been accessed without permission, contact us promptly.
